MARSHFIELD — Has an aging property in your neighborhood become the shining star of the block? Are you aware of someone who has done such a great job restoring or maintaining a property that deserves an award? The Marshfield Historic Preservation Committee would like your help in identifying candidates for the 2015 Stewardship Awards Program.
To promote public awareness of preservation and restoration, the Committee will present awards to property owners who have shown exemplary stewardship in historic preservation through renovation and upkeep of property.
Any property 50 years or older is eligible. Awards will be announced and presented annually or bi-annually in conjunction with Historic Preservation Month or a Common Council meeting.
To submit a nomination, go to ci.marshfield.wi.us/businesses/historic_preservation/stewardship_award_program.php, print out the Nomination Form, and mail your completed nomination to: Historic Preservation Committee, City of Marshfield, 630 S. Central Ave., Suite 602, Marshfield, WI 54449, or email it to email@example.com. Forms are also available from the Department of Planning & Economic Development at City Hall Plaza.
The committee and staff look forward to working with the community to promote Marshfield’s historic character through education and outreach. Help celebrate the people and places that make Marshfield interesting, unique, and important.
