Auburndale baseball beats Abbotsford for first win of season

AUBURNDALE — Auburndale scored five times in the fourth inning to pull past Abbotsford 8-3 in a nonconference baseball game Friday at Auburndale High School.
Abbotsford (0-2) led 1-0 after one inning before Auburndale scored twice in the third and blew the game open with five more in the fourth.
Cooper Krings earned the victory for the Apaches (1-1), striking out six in four innings.
Logan Willfahrt went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBIs to lead Auburndale offensively. Cody Steins also drove in a pair of runs for the Apaches.
Auburndale will play at Colby on Monday.
