RUDOLPH — Authorities have released the name of the 25-year-old Pittsville man who was injured in a car crash in the early morning hours of Friday, June 26. Brad L. Sullivan was trapped and had to be extricated from his vehicle, which had gone off the road and into the woods north of State Highway 66 in the town of Rudolph, according to a release from the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.
Sullivan was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was transported to Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital by the Spirit Helicopter. The release stated that speed and alcohol are thought to be factors in the crash. According to the release, State Highway 66 was closed for about two hours during the incident but is now open.
A hospital spokesperson said Sullivan was in fair condition.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Portage County Sheriff’s Department, Wood County Rescue, Rudolph Fire Department, United Ambulance, and Spirit of Marshfield.
