Maple Avenue project update: July 8, 2015
Phase 1: Maple Avenue from Veterans Parkway to Fourth Street and Third Street from Maple Avenue to Central Avenue

MARSHFIELD — The majority of the underground work on this phase has been completed. The electrical contractor has a small amount of underground work left on Third Street before they begin pulling wire for the new street lights can be pulled.
Trierweiler Construction completed paving of the eastbound driving lane of Third Street and the northbound driving lane of Maple Avenue last Thursday. This concrete has now reached the strength required before paving of the next lanes can begin.
We Energies finished installing a 6” gas main across Central Avenue last week, and they have completed all of the necessary relocations required for this project.
Paul Rogers’ Hardacre Park project is progressing with the removal of the building, installation of the wall, and backfilling of the site. The portion of Fifth Street adjacent to the site has been reopened to traffic.
Trierweiler began fine grading the remaining portion of Third and Maple today. Paving of the westbound lane of Third Street and the southbound driving lane of Maple Avenue will begin on Thursday, July 9. Curb and gutter placement has been scheduled to begin on Monday, July 13. Treirweiler’s sidewalk crew has been scheduled to begin on July 15 right behind the curb and gutter crew.
Work in the intersection of Fourth Street and Maple Avenue is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27.
