Local group of high school players third in division at Waupaca Boatride Volleyball Tournament
More than 1,000 teams compete in annual event in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH — A group of four local high school volleyball players took third place in the U16 division at the annual Waupaca Boatride Volleyball Tournament/U.S. Open of Grass Volleyball held on July 10 in Oshkosh.
The Waupaca Boatride is the world’s largest outdoor volleyball tournament, with more than 1,000 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The local high school-aged team that finished third in the U16 girls division was made up of Marshfield High School athletes Maureen Cassidy, Alexa Aumann, and Alison Spindler and Spencer’s Courtney Buss.
