Columbus Catholic routs Northland Lutheran to improve to 5-0
Nine Dons score in road win

KRONENWETTER — Alexandra Hutchison scored a pair of goals, and eight other Columbus Catholic players also scored as the Dons routed Northland Lutheran 10-0 in a Mid-State Soccer Conference game Thursday.
Charles Payant, Nadim Torbey, Nick Malovrh, Tyler Fuerlinger, Tim Gruenloh, Farid Torbey, Bailey Keffer, and Zoe Stratman each scored for the Dons. Gruenloh, Payant, and Fuerlinger all scored on penalty kicks, and Keffer and Stratman both had their first career varsity goals.
Noah Hansen, Fuerlinger, Calvin Brown, and Torbey each had assists. Keffer had four saves, and Kellen Heinzen had one in the win.
Columbus Catholic is now 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-State Soccer Conference.
The Dons return to action Tuesday with a home game at 5 p.m. against Stevens Point Pacelli at Griese Park.
