UW holding auditions for fall play ‘The God Committee’

MARSHFIELD — The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County Theatre Department is holding open auditions for Mark St. Germain’s “The God Committee” on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Helen Conner Laird Theater.
Students and community members who are interested only need to attend one of the two sessions. Those auditioning will be asked to do cold readings. No prepared material is required. A call-back audition — also at 6 p.m. — will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, for a select group of actors as chosen by the director.
There are parts available for adult males and females of various ages. Rehearsals will begin on or near Sept. 17 and culminate in performances Nov. 5-8.
