Marshfield girls tennis drops home dual to D.C. Everest
Tigers fall to 3-2 in WVC play

WESTON — Marshfield lost a pair of matches in three sets and fell to D.C. Everest 4-3 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference girls tennis dual meet on Tuesday at D.C. Everest High School.
Winning matches for the Tigers were Ashley Schultz and Hanah Gadke at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, and the No. 1 doubles team of Emily Serchen and Olivia Haessly.
Everest was able to squeak out three-set wins at No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles to win the match for its first WVC dual meet victory. Marshfield is now 3-2.
Marshfield hosts Wausau East on Thursday at Boson Courts starting at 4 p.m. in its final WVC dual meet of the season.
