Spencer girls basketball wins debut against Colby
Lexi Baehr pours in 20 points for Rockets

SPENCER — The Spencer girls basketball team jumped right into Cloverbelt Conference East Division action and defeated Colby 55-46 in the season opener for the Rockets on Tuesday night at Spencer High School.
The Rockets outscored Colby 25-16 in the first half and held on from there.
Spencer had a great shooting game, making 16 of 28 shots from the field (57 percent).
Lexi Baehr led the way for the Rockets, scoring 20 points. Sydney Kind added 15 points in the win.
Spencer’s next game is Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Edgar in a nonconference matchup.
