Marshfield boys basketball knocks off Holmen to win home-opener
Fravert scores 18 points in win

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield boys basketball team won its home opener, outlasting Holmen 58-50 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Marshfield High School.
The Tigers led 23-22 at halftime, and after a number of lead changes early in the second half, they pulled away to secure their second victory in three tries this season.
Adam Fravert had 18 points, seven rebounds, six steals, and three blocked shots, and Grant Michaelis added 13 points for Marshfield (2-1).
Marshfield has a week off before traveling to La Crosse Central for a nonconference game on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
