Four Apaches score in double figures

ATHENS — Luke Olsen scored 13 points to lead four Auburndale players in double figures as the Apaches doubled up Athens 60-30 in a nonconference boys basketball game Thursday night at Athens High School.
The game was the season opener for both teams.
Christian Firnstahl had 11 points, and Dylan Peplinski and Caleb Weinfurter each added 10 for the Apaches.
Auburndale raced out to a 33-15 lead by halftime and controlled the game the rest of the way.
Justin Kelly led Athens with 11 points.
Auburndale’s next game is Monday at Marshfield Columbus Catholic.
