MARSHFIELD – Hub City Times had the chance to sit down with three of the people most involved with rescuing Wildwood Zoo’s new Kodiak bears, Munsey and Boda. Hub City Times spoke with Brigid and Harry Dodge and Brandon Stokes on Wednesday, and there will be a full video feature of our interview with them soon.
Harry and Brandon hiked over an hour to reach the den where the cubs were orphaned and scaled back down the mountain with the cubs in their packs. For now, check out this video they provided to Hub City Times of one of the cubs still in the pack he was rescued in on the day he was rescued. There were three bears rescued on this day, two of which are Munsey and Boda. (Video provided by Brigid Dodge)
