Wisconsin Rapids blanks Marshfield boys hockey
Tigers fall to 1-5

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Marshfield boys hockey team was shut out for the second game in a row as it dropped a 4-0 decision to Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday night at South Wood County Ice Arena.
The Tigers are now 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Rapids improves to 6-2 and 2-0 in the WVC.
Cody Kohls scored twice, and Logan Conkey had a goal and three assists for Wisconsin Rapids.
Marshfield hosts its annual tournament this weekend at the Marshfield Youth Ice Arena. The Tigers play Stevens Point Pacelli at 7:15 p.m. Friday night and will take on Eau Claire North at 1:15 p.m. and Chequmaegon at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
North and Chequamegon play at 5 p.m. Friday. Sparta takes on Chequamegon at 11 a.m. and then Pacelli at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
