Fuerlinger’s 32 points helps Columbus Catholic boys basketball outlast Owen-Withee
Dons improve to 10-0 overall, 7-0 in Cloverbelt East

OWEN — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team got a career-high 32 points from Tyler Fuerlinger to down Owen-Withee 78-68 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Friday night at Owen-Withee High School.
The Dons, ranked third in this week’s Wissports.net Division 5 state coaches poll, improves to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Owen-Withee is now 5-4 and 4-2 in the conference.
Evan Nikolai added 14 points, and Hunter Schultz had 13 for the Dons.
Josiah Goerlitz topped Owen-Withee with 30 points.
The Dons’ next game is Thursday at Spencer. The game will be broadcast on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and wdlbwosq.com.
