Citizens encouraged to share vision for Marshfield’s future
Comprehensive Plan Kickoff meeting set for Jan. 16
For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD — The city wants your input at the Comprehensive Plan Kickoff meeting, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 9 a.m. at the Wildwood Pavilion, 1800 S. Roddis Ave.
The Comprehensive Plan is the city’s master plan that is updated about once every 10 years. Although there will be other public input opportunities throughout the development of the plan, this will be the first opportunity for residents to share what they envision Marshfield to be over the next 10-25 years. There will be a couple of small group exercises to facilitate discussion. The meeting is expected to last two to three hours.
Please note that the focus of this meeting is to gather general input for the Comprehensive Plan. Although we can certainly include the Second Street project and the Community Square Park in our discussion, we will not be spending time specifically talking about those projects at this meeting.
Please RSVP to Josh Miller at [email protected] or 715-486-2075. RSVP is not required but encouraged.
