Auditions coming up for UW spring comedy ‘Bedroom Farce’

MARSHFIELD — The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County Theatre Department is holding open auditions for Alan Ayckbourn’s “Bedroom Farce” on Tuesday, Feb. 9, and Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 6 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre — Room 369, Helen Connor Laird Fine Arts Building lower level.
Students and community members who are interested only need to attend one session. Those auditioning will be asked to do cold readings, and no prepared material is required. On Thursday, Feb. 11, a call-back audition — also at 6 p.m. — will be held for a select group of actors as chosen by the director.
There are parts available for adult males and females of various ages. Rehearsals will begin on or near Feb. 21 and culminate in performances April 14-17.
