Auburndale girls basketball rips Abbotsford, extends win streak to 14
Gotz has 17 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists for Apaches

AUBURNDALE — Ten different Auburndale players scored as the Apaches girls basketball team cruised to a 62-22 victory over Abbotsford in the third-place game of the Marawood Conference North-South Crossovers Friday night at Auburndale High School. The game was the regular-season finale for both teams.
Taylor Gotz had 17 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, and Paiton Richardson had 14 points and five steals for the Apaches, who head into the playoffs on a 14-game winning streak and with a 20-2 record.
Brooke Anderson added eight points for Auburndale.
The Apaches will host a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal on Friday, Feb. 26, against the winner of Tuesday’s game between Menominee Indian and Oconto.
