Marshfield baseball tops Wisconsin Rapids
Tigers end four-game losing skid

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Hunter Korger and Scott Berg combined on a six-hitter to lead the Marshfield baseball team to a 6-1 win over Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday at Witter Field.
The win snaps a four-game losing streak for the Tigers as they improve to 5-8 overall and 2-3 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Rapids is now 3-6 and 2-5 in the conference.
Korger allowed one run in five innings, and Berg gave up just one hit in two innings to seal the victory for Marshfield.
Berg, Trevor Schwecke, and Jared Klein each had two hits, and Klein drove in two runs for the Tigers.
Marshfield will host Rapids on Thursday at Jack Hackman Field at 4:30 p.m.
