Where are they now: Local athletes making mark on college level

A number of former local high school athletes have moved on to the next level and are playing collegiate sports across the country. Periodically, Hub City Times will publish a college sports roundup, updating readers of some of those athletes’ exploits.
Littmann wraps up career for UW-Stout baseball
Austin Littmann, a 2012 graduate of Marshfield High School, finished up his four-year career on the University of Wisconsin-Stout baseball team on Monday, going 3-for-6 with a double in a nonconference doubleheader split with Macalester College (Minn.).
Littmann finished the season batting .290 (38-for-131) with five doubles, 22 runs scored, and 11 RBIs as he played in 39 of the Blue Devils’ 40 games, including 38 starts.
Stout finished the season with a 14-26 record and a 6-12 mark in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Littmann was a two-time all-Wisconsin Valley Conference infielder with the Tigers, named to the second team in 2011 and the first team in 2012.
Berres finishes season on Stout golf team
Josh Berres, a sophomore on the University of Wisconsin-Stout men’s golf team, completed his season on April 29 with a 19th-place finish at the Edgewood College Quad in Middleton.
Berres shot an 84 at the meet, which Stout won with a score of 299.
A 2014 Marshfield High School graduate, Berres golfed in 10 events during the 2015-2016 season and had four top-20 finishes. In 18 rounds Berres had a scoring average of 79.8 strokes per round.
Columbus grad Manlick excels for St. Norbert tennis
Auburndale native and 2013 Columbus Catholic High School graduate Elizabeth Manlick completed her junior season on the St. Norbert College women’s tennis team in De Pere.
Manlick finished the 2015-2016 season with a 21-9 mark in doubles and an 19-11 record in singles.
Manlick finished 11-1 at No. 2 doubles with partner Anna Gosz and was 7-4 at No. 1 doubles playing with Erika Chitko. She was 8-2 in Midwest Conference singles matches.
The Green Knights were 3-8 in the spring season, including a 5-2 loss to Grinnell College at the Midwest Conference Tournament in Madison on April 29.
