Hot bats lift Auburndale baseball past Northland Lutheran
Apaches have 14 hits in home win

AUBURNDALE — Logan Willfahrt had three hits and two RBIs to lift the Auburndale baseball team to a 10-2 victory over Northland Lutheran at home on Tuesday.
The Apaches, who beat Northland Lutheran for the second-straight day, is now 6-6 overall and 6-5 in the Marawood South. Auburndale finishes its conference season Friday at Pittsville. Northland Lutheran is now 2-10 and 2-9 in the conference.
Auburndale had 14 hits in all, including two each from Aaron Willfahrt, Caleb Weinfurter, Cason Schmutzer, and Colton Wright. Wright and Schmutzer drove in a pair of runs each.
Weinfurter earned the win on the mound, striking out seven in six innings.
