Eau Claire Cavaliers snap Marshfield Chaparrals’ six-game win streak
Chaps held to five hits in home loss

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Chaparrals amateur baseball team saw its six-game winning streak snapped with an 11-3 loss to the Eau Claire Cavaliers in a nonleague game Monday at Jack Hackman Field.
Eau Claire had 17 hits and took advantage of five Marshfield errors in the win.
Seven different Cavaliers had at least two hits in the game.
Marshfield (6-2) was held to five hits, which included a double by Luke Wirtz and a triple by Curtis Engelbrecht.
Marshfield hosts Everest in a Dairyland League game Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Hackman Field.
