Parks & Rec to host Milwaukee Zoo trip, Wild Wednesday

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Parks and Recreation Department is taking registration for a trip to Milwaukee County Zoo on Aug. 9. The cost is $29 for ages 2 and under, $41 for ages 3 to 12 or 66 and up, and $44 for ages 13 to 65. Fees include admission to the zoo and coach bus transportation.
The bus departs from the Oak Avenue Community Center at 7:30 a.m. and returns at 8:30 p.m. Children 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The next Wild Wednesdays program will be held at Wildwood Station on Aug. 10. David Stokes will hold his “Laughing with the Animals” show at 1, 2:30, 4, and 5:30 p.m. Discover more about animals through songs, stories, movement, riddles, and hands-on materials from this nationally known naturalist.
This program is sponsored by the Marshfield Rotary Club. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
