SUN PRAIRIE — The Marshfield boys soccer team dropped a pair of games at the Sun Prairie Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
The Tigers lost 6-0 to Sun Prairie on Friday and 5-0 to Waukesha West on Saturday to fall to 1-2 this season.
“It was a good learning experience for all the players,” Marshfield coach Steve McCann said. “These were high-caliber teams we played that will make strong pushes for top rankings in the state and deep playoff runs. We will look at film and make a few corrections and be prepared to work harder and to get better.”
Marshfield opens its Wisconsin Valley Conference schedule Tuesday at Wausau West.
