Colby prepares to spend an evening with Michael Perry

COLBY — Bestselling Wisconsin author, humorist, and radio show host Michael Perry is coming to Colby.
“An Evening with Michael Perry” will be held at the Colby High School Theater on Oct. 15. Doors open at 6 p.m. The show will begin at 7 p.m. followed by book sales and signing in the high school cafeteria. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Colby Public Library as the kickoff fundraiser for the new Colby library building.
Tickets may be purchased at the Colby Public Library and Forward Financial Bank or at the door on the night of the show if not sold out.
The ticket price is $12, and all seating will be general admission. Cash, checks, or money orders are accepted. Call the Colby Public Library at 715-223-2000 for information on mail orders.
Tickets for Michael Perry-themed raffle baskets can be purchased at the library or prior to Perry’s show on Oct. 15. Winners will be announced following Perry’s presentation.
Perry’s bestselling memoirs include “Population 485,” “Truck: A Love Story,” “Coop,” and “Visiting Tom.” His new book, “Roughneck Grace,” will be available for purchase after the show.
