Barb Rosenthal’s work featured at Gallery 450

MARSHFIELD — The current exhibition at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County’s Gallery 450, titled “Wind, Waves and Metaphor,” is comprised of 30 pen and ink drawings created by Barb Rosenthal.
Rosenthal received her Master of Fine Arts in painting from Northern Illinois University as well as a master’s in humanities and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing from UW-Oshkosh. She has been teaching at UW-Oshkosh since 1985 and received a Distinguished Teaching Award in 2005. She has taught figure drawing, drawing, painting, watercolor, and basic 2D design.
Currently a member of ArtSpace Collective, Rosenthal has had her work included in shows such as The Triennial in Oshkosh, the Wisconsin Biennial, the Beloit and Vicinity show, and at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Gallery 450 is located in the Helen Connor Laird Fine Arts Building at UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
