RoAnn D. Wienke, 80, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, with Pastor Dean Pingel officiating. Burial will take place in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rembs Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

RoAnn was born on April 20, 1936 in Kenosha, to Raymond and Hedy (Scheviak) Doerring and was a graduate of Kenosha Public High School.

She was united in marriage to Marvin L. Wienke on Oct. 6, 1956 in Kenosha. He died on Nov. 19, 2014.
RoAnn was employed in retail sales for many years and was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo with friends and grandchildren. She loved helping everyone and had a huge and giving heart.

RoAnn is survived by her children, Robert (Melody Swanson) Wienke of LaSalle, IL, Debbie (Ken) Forrest, Ken Wienke, Barb (Joe) Martell, all of Marshfield, and Richard (Tiffany) Wienke of Luxemburg. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Ron Doerring of Kenosha and a brother-in-law, Father Ron Levra of Park Falls; and several nieces & nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, a sister, Karen Levra, a daughter-in-law, Sue Wienke and a grandson, Timothy Altmann.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Three Oaks Golden Living Center, Palliative Care and 5th Floor of Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chaplain Dennis Fahey, Pastor Pingel and a dear friend, Sarah Kolstad.

In lieu of flowers, the family will designate a memorial at a later date.
