Public invited to help determine Marshfield’s future land use policies
By Josh Miller
MARSHFIELD — The city is looking for input. The Comprehensive Plan is nearing completion, and a critical component of it is the land use guidelines that will direct future development in the community.
An open house will be held on April 6 from 3-7 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, which are in basement of City Hall, 630 S. Central Ave., for the public to view and comment on the draft land use maps. Maps and information about the land use chapter will be available for review. Staff will also be there to address questions and gather any feedback the public may have about the plan.
To view the land use chapter and maps ahead of time, visit ci.marshfield.wi.us/departments/development_services/comprehensive_plan_update.php.
Those with any questions or who are unable to attend the meeting and would like to share their thoughts regarding the land use maps should contact Josh Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org or 715-486-2075.
