For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD — From 4:30-7 p.m. on April 13, the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library is hosting Katy Zaleski, Simplicity Credit Union’s human resources manager, as she presents information to help individuals “Retire on Track.” The Retirement Fair from 4:30-6 p.m. is for attendees to browse, visit, and ask questions. Then at 6 p.m. Zaleski will give a one-hour presentation covering information to keep those in their early and mid careers on track for a comfortable retirement. Time for questions and answers is included.
This program will be held in the J.P. Adler Program Room on the library’s first floor.
“Breaking through Brick Walls” is a session for the serious but stumped genealogist. At 5 p.m. on April 27 will be a joint workshop with the Marshfield Area Genealogy Group to get help from others who have traveled down the same path. The session will be held in the Felker Family Foundation Genealogy & Local History Room on the library’s second floor.
This session will bring together experienced members of the Marshfield Area Genealogy Group and the resources of the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library. Volunteers will share their collective research powers to assist participants in getting past their obstacles. Research follows a light supper at 5 p.m.
To be sure that enough experts and materials will be on hand, register in advance by calling the information desk at 715-387-8494, ext. 2746.
Refreshments at both events will be provided by the Marshfield Public Library Foundation Inc.
