Owen-Withee outslugs Columbus Catholic baseball
Dons fall to 2-5

MARSHFIELD — Owen-Withee scored multiple runs in four different innings and outlasted Marshfield Columbus Catholic 17-9 in a wild Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Tuesday at Reeths Field.
Owen-Withee led 10-0 after scoring six runs in the third inning and two more in the fourth before the Dons tried to get back in it.
Columbus scored four times in its half of the fourth inning, Owen-Withee responded with three in the fifth, and the Dons came back with four more in the bottom of the fifth to make it 13-8.
After a scoreless sixth, Owen-Withee (3-6, 3-4 Cloverbelt East) put the game away with a four-run seventh.
Noah Taylor and Bailey Keffer each had three hits for Columbus Catholic (2-5, 2-4 Cloverbelt East).
