Columbus Catholic baseball loses at home to Greenwood
Mandel drives in two for Dons

MARSHFIELD — Greenwood scored five times in the fourth inning to break open a close game and went on to down Marshfield Columbus Catholic 10-4 in Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball action Friday at Jack Hackman Field.
Greenwood (12-6, 10-3 Cloverbelt East) was up 2-1 before the big inning and led by at least five the rest of the game.
Devin Toburen had three of Greenwood’s 11 hits.
Ethan Meece took the loss for the Dons, walking six and allowing seven runs (four earned) in four innings.
Ryan Dieringer, Tyler Fuerlinger, and Jarred Mandel each had two hits, and Mandel had two RBIs for Columbus (5-8, 5-7 Cloverbelt East).
Columbus Catholic returns to action Tuesday at Gilman.
