Marshfield Chaparrals baseball shut out at Eau Claire
Chaps held to four hits in loss, fall to 3-3

EAU CLAIRE — The Marshfield Chaparrals were held to four hits and shutout for the second time this week as they fell to the Eau Claire Cavaliers 8-0 in an amateur baseball game Thursday night at Carson Park.
Bobby Pilz took the loss for Marshfield (3-3), striking out seven, walking two, and allowing 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Justin Rayburn and Curtis Engelbrecht each had two hits for all of the Chaparrals’ offense.
Marshfield is off until Monday when it hosts Merrill at Jack Hackman Field with a 7:30 p.m. first pitch.
