Marshfield Junior Legion loses to Oshkosh North, finishes Antigo tourney at 3-1
Blue Devils held to four hits in loss

ANTIGO — The Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team’s six-game winning streak came to an end with a 9-0 loss to Oshkosh North on the final day of the three-day Antigo Junior Legion Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
The Blue Devils were held to four hits in the loss to finish 3-1 in the tournament and fall to 9-4 overall this summer.
Oshkosh scored five runs in the second inning to take control and put the game away with two runs in both the third and fourth innings. The game ended with two outs in the top of the fourth inning due to rain.
Ryan Krueger suffered the loss, walking five and giving up six hits and nine runs in three innings.
Marshfield plays at doubleheader at Stevens Point on Monday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
