MARSHFIELD — As part of Marshfield’s 14th Annual Hub City Days, locals gathered July 28 on the 200 block of South Central Avenue to recreate a historic dinner that occurred 100 years ago.
The 1917 banquet was held to honor Company A Second Regiment of the Wisconsin National Guard when the unit was called to active duty during World War I.
The 2017 recreation was a spaghetti dinner organized by Main Street Marshfield, which included an opportunity to participate in the centennial commemorative photo.
