MARSHFIELD — Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) is continuing to care for sick and injured children in Wisconsin through its new partnership at Marshfield Children’s Hospital, a service of Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS).
MCHS’s acquisition of Marshfield Medical Center, formerly Saint Joseph’s Hospital, allows MCHS to now offer CMNH services to children and families throughout central and northern Wisconsin.
“Marshfield Clinic has provided care for children in the Marshfield community and beyond for 100 years, and we’re excited to continue that through a partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said MCHS CEO Dr. Susan Turney. “We look forward to expanding the services we offer at Marshfield Medical Center to best care for children and their families.”
Marshfield Children’s Hospital is one of Wisconsin’s three Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
Though CMNH raises funds for 170 member hospitals nationwide, 100 percent of the funds raised locally will stay within the Marshfield Children’s Hospital’s service area to provide for programs like Child Life, new diagnostic and treatment equipment, and direct assistance to families in need.
