Alvera worked at Auburndale Homes as a “window decorator” and she also shared custodial duties with Francis at St. Mary’s Church and School for many years. Her favorite jobs though were being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Upon Francis’ illness, Alvera and Francis moved to Bellevue, NE to be nearer their son Frank and his family. Aside from a few years living in Port St. Lucie, FL with her husband Chuck, she resided at Bellevue, NE and was there until the time of her death.
