Rockets open Cloverbelt East season Thursday at Gilman

SPENCER — The Spencer volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Mosinee in a nonconference matchup Tuesday at Spencer High School.

Mosinee won 25-7, 25-13, 25-20.

Chloe Drews had seven kills, Sadie Mercier added 10 assists, and Lexi Baehr had 12 assists for the Rockets (2-8).

“We just struggled in serve receive and passing in general,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “They are too good of a team to tip and push.”

Spencer opens its Cloverbelt Conference East Division schedule Thursday at Gilman.
