OSHKOSH — The Marshfield football team took a big step toward ending a three-year WIAA playoff drought with a 54-0 drubbing of Oshkosh North in a Valley Football Association game Friday at Titan Stadium.
The Tigers are now 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the VFA West. With a win at D.C. Everest on Oct. 6 or at home against Wausau West on Oct. 13, Marshfield would become playoff eligible. A pair of wins would guarantee a playoff berth.
Oshkosh North is now 0-7 overall and 0-6 in the VFA South.
