Columbus Catholic volleyball beats Gilman, clinches at least share of Cloverbelt East title
Dons can wrap up outright conference title with win at Loyal on Thursday

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team wrapped up its regular-season home schedule with a 3-1 win over Gilman, ensuring at least a tie for the Cloverbelt Conference East Division championship.
The Dons won 15-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-19 to move to 6-0 in Cloverbelt East play. Gilman is now 4-2.
Annie Baierl had 23 digs and three service aces, Brooke Neider had 35 assists and 12 digs, and Kate Turchi had 13 kills and five blocks for the Dons.
Kenzie Hansen added 12 kills, Maren Seefluth had 11 kills and 13 digs, Jessica Jakopin recorded 10 kills and five blocks, and Katie Hall notched 14 digs and three aces for Columbus.
Columbus Catholic plays at Loyal on Thursday and with a victory would secure the outright conference title.
