WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Caleb A Goetzen, 30, was charged with one felony count of bail jumping and four misdemeanors following an incident that occurred at the Marshfield Medical Center (MMC).
On Sept. 24, Marshfield police were dispatched to the MMC emergency room, where a Marshfield man was allegedly causing a disturbance and attempting to leave the facilities while undergoing treatment for a head injury and severe alcohol consumption.
Officers were able to escort the man, identified as Goetzen, back into a hospital room. Once his blood alcohol level was low enough to transport, Goetzen was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
Goetzen had been out on bond for several court cases that required absolute sobriety and refraining from further criminal acts.
Goetzen is being charged with felony bail jumping, a class H felony that could result in up to $10,000 in fines and/or six years imprisonment if convicted. He is also being charged with three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping as well as a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
