Spencer library to offer presentation on WI Court System
For Hub City Times
SPENCER – From Judge Judy to John Grisham to “Law & Order,” the entertainment industry often presents an unrealistic and unflattering view of what happens in a courtroom. Join the Marathon County Public Library (MCPL) as they separate fact from fiction on Jan. 11 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Spencer Branch Library, 105 S. Park St., Spencer.
MCPL’s Spencer branch will separate myth from reality in a fun way with this humorous, yet educational, presentation that will help attendees understand Wisconsin’s judicial system, how it works, and how the courts actually differ from what’s depicted on TV shows and in movies.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-659-3996 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4010.
