MARSHFIELD – Trinity Lutheran Church and School will offer a presentation for families and friends that care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease.
The event,”It’s Alzheimer’s – It’s Time for Extraordinary Love,” will be held in the congregation’s commons area on April 22.
The first part of the presentation will be held from 9:15-10.15 a.m., followed by lunch, and part two will run from noon to 1.35 p.m.
Pastor Curt Seefeldt, director of church relations for The Lutheran Home Association, will facilitate discussion on Alzheimer’s diagnosis, treatment options, answers to spiritual questions, and family care. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to provide emotional and spiritual support to all who are affected by the disease.
The event will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9529 Highway 80, Marshfield, and is free of charge.
