For Hub City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wood County Crime Stoppers announced that they have partnered with Anderson Software to provide a seamless and efficient way for the community to provide information to help solve and prevent crimes.
Anderson Software leads the industry with its latest secure, anonymous tip acquisition and management solution, called P3 Intel. This partnership allows Wood County Crime Stoppers to build a stronger relationship between law enforcement and the public to proactively create a safer community.
Wood County Crime Stoppers previously accepted tips via SMS text messaging using a short code along with a keyword. Beginning April 2, tips will be accepted through the P3 Tips free mobile app, which is available in both the Apple Store and Google Play.
In addition to submitting tips through the P3 mobile app, tips may be submitted via the web and by phone. All tips can be submitted while remaining completely anonymous.
Tips submitted through the P3 mobile app, will no longer have length limitations and it will allow images, video, and documents to be uploaded along with the tip.
Tips may be submitted from any PC or mobile browser by going to p3tips.com, through the Crime Stopper hotline 877-325-STOP(7867), or by visiting www.woodcountvcrimestouuers.com.
When submitting tips, tipsters will be given a TIP ID and password. Using this information, they can login at p3tips.com and submit follow-up information, engage in real time chat two-way dialogue, be informed of the outcome of the tip, and access any pertinent reward information.
Reporting information that leads to an arrest may make you eligible for a cash reward.
