Central Wisconsin companies invited to learn how to bid for Foxconn construction

MADISON – Construction-related businesses looking for details on how to become vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, or professional service providers during the construction phase of the Foxconn project in Racine County are invited to attend an informational session.
Hosted by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), CENTERGY and M+W|Gilbane, the professional construction manager on the project, the meeting is designed to assist construction-related companies in understanding the nature of the project and the procurement process.
Construction-related businesses will receive information regarding the process for submitting bid proposals, standard terms and conditions related to the project, basic construction information, and a preliminary construction schedule for Phase One of Wisconn Valley Science and Technology Park. Representatives from WEDC and M+W|Gilbane will be on hand to answer questions about the Foxconn project and the opportunities available to Wisconsin companies.
The informational session will be held April 16, from 10 a.m. – noon, at the Entrepreneurial Enterprise Center, 100 N. 72nd Ave., Wausau, WI 54401
