April 10
Marshfield man reports possible skimming incident
At 7:16 p.m., a Marshfield man reported that his credit card may have been skimmed while using it that morning at a Marshfield gas station. The man contacted the issuing bank and canceled the card.
April 10-11
Multiple windows damaged
During the evening hours of April 10 or the early morning hours of April 11, multiple vehicle and building windows were damaged by what might have been a BB or pellet gun on 4th Street, 11th Street, Cedar, Peach and Vine Avenues.
April 11
Man forges Arpin woman’s checks
A 41-year-old Arpin woman reported that sometime between April 7-9, a 20-year-old man took three personal checks belonging to her and cashed them at two different stores. The woman was able to stop payment on the third check.
Unlocked vehicle entered
A 27-year-old Marshfield woman reported that she had forgotten to lock her vehicle and sometime between April 10 at 9 p.m. and April 11 at 9:52 a.m. someone had entered the vehicle. She stated that some music CDs may have been taken, but nothing of significant value was missing. The woman just wanted a report on file.
Marshfield man arrested after busting into home
At 6:59 p.m., a 31-year-old Marshfield woman reported that a 34-year-old Marshfield man had punched her twice, after he broke open the door to her residence. The man was arrested, booked, and released after bond was paid. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s office.
April 12
Marshfield man steals cold medicine
At 5:28 p.m., a Marshfield department store loss prevention employee reported that a 39-year-old Marshfield man had stolen some cold medicine. Charges are being requested for retail theft, obstruction, and bail jumping.
April 15
Marshfield man reports himself
At 4:52 p.m., a Marshfield man reported that he was consuming alcohol in violation of bond rules. The man was transported for medical clearance and taken to the Wood County Jail for bail jumping.
April 16
Safe taken at Marshfield Mall
A 30-year-old staff member at the Marshfield Mall reported that sometime between April 13-16, a locked room was entered and a safe was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
