MARSHFIELD – Funeral services are set for May 23 for a Stratford man killed in a farming accident. The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department says 19-year-old Paul Kloos was killed when a manure pit he was cleaning exploded; the incident occurred around 8 a.m. on May 18.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on May 23 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield.
Paul was a 2017 graduate of Stratford High School. He leaves behind his fiancé Britni and an unborn daughter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a fund for his daughter.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known.
