June 25
Call me, maybe?
At 6:49 p.m., a 33-year-old Pittsville woman reported that her ex-boyfriend, a 29-year-old Colby man was sending unwanted texts and phone calls. She stated that one day he called her phone over 45 times and another day it was 31 times. The Colby man was contacted and asked to only text the woman if it was in regards to their child. The man was warned for his behavior.
June 26
Man makes threatening comments during appointment
At 9:50 a.m., the Marathon County Sheriff’s department contacted the Marshfield police regarding threatening comments made to a nurse practitioner at a local medical facility. The 60-year-old patient made threatening comments in regards to care he was given at a Wausau area dental clinic. The man stated he was planning on going to the dental office sometime in the next week and that he would end up in jail after his encounter there. The dental clinic is aware of the threats as well as the local law enforcement agencies.
June 28
A missing muffler cow
At 7:35 a.m., a 63-year-old Marshfield man reported the theft of a lawn decoration. The lawn décor was a homemade cow made out of muffler parts. After two consented searches of residences, and searches of local scrap yards, the muffler cow is still missing.
$10 and some smokes
At 7 p.m., a 24-year-old Marshfield woman reported that someone entered her car and took a $10 bill and a pack of cigarettes from her front seat. Her car was parked near the library, and she ran in for less than a half hour. Her vehicle was unlocked. There are no suspects at this time.
Woman arrested for domestic abuse
At 11:19 p.m., a 29-year-old man contacted police in regards to a physical fight with his fiancée. His fiancée, a 29-year-old Marshfield woman, was arrested for domestic abuse after an investigation of the situation.
