A fateful trip

MARSHFIELD – Kim Krueger, of the North Wood County Historical Society (NWCHS), narrates the tale of William H. Upham’s fateful 1913 trip to the Gulf of Mexico in the J.P. Adler Room of the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library on July 2.
The presentation was part of the NWCHS “Spoken History” lecture series. Spoken History is a collaborative effort of the north Wood County Historical Society, the Marshfield Historic Preservation Association, the city of Marshfield Historic Preservation Committee, the Marshfield Area Genealogy Group, and the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.
