MARSHFIELD – UW-Marshfield/Wood County Continuing Education will present “Singin’ in the Rain Jr” Aug. 10-11, at 7:30 p.m., and Aug. 12, at 2 p.m., at the UW-Marshfield/Wood County Campus’ Helen Connor Laird Theatre.

This classic musical will feature over 40 talented local youth, ages 11-18.

The story centers on 1920s Hollywood stars caught up in the transition from silent films to “talkies.” The musical also features popular songs, such as “Singin’ in the Rain”, “Good Morning,” and “Make Em’ Laugh,” with a mix of singing, comedy, and big dance numbers.

Tickets are available at www.marshfield.uwc.edu/ce or by calling the box office at 715-389-6534.
