Two graduate from MMC Nuclear Medicine program

MARSHFIELD – Graduation ceremonies were held Aug. 4 for two students who graduated from the Marshfield Medical Center (MMC) Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Upon completion of their 12-month internship, Tristian Maki and Hali Priest received a certificate of graduation from MMC, presented by Carlyn Johnson, program director, and Abbie Grancorvitz, clinical coordinator. They also will receive a bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
The graduates are eligible to take the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board examination (NMTCB) and/or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Nuclear Medicine examination (ARRT-NM) to become nationally certified as nuclear medicine technologists.
Tristian Maki, son of Mark and Barb Maki from Garland, Texas (formerly of Eden Prairie, Minnesota), has accepted a position with Aspirus in Wisconsin Rapids. Hali Priest, daughter of Glenn and Deb Priest from Mauston, will begin employment with Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
