Local couple to reopen Pittsville Subway
By Julie Schooley
PITTSVILLE – Pittsville residents will have a dining option return as the Subway restaurant, located at 8226 Jackson St., Pittsville, reopens in mid-October.
Lifelong Pittsville residents, Dan and Diana Schooley purchased the Subway building in September. Diana, a loan officer at First Centennial Mortgage, Marshfield, will continue to work part time as she manages the franchise in Pittsville.
Diana is motivated and ready to start this new adventure. She says that the community missed this as a dining option. She is happy that she can bring it back to Pittsville. She and Dan had been tossing around the idea of purchasing the Subway for a while and finally decided the time was right.
Diana is currently going through franchise training in Connecticut and will be back the beginning of October to begin hiring. For more information, visit the Pittsville High School office or the Pittsville city clerk.
